Dental on Bowen has been providing dental services in the Goondiwindi district for over thirty years!  These services include; dental implants, root canal treatment and wisdom tooth removal in addition to general dental services. We pride ourselves in providing the best treatment for our patients.

With an existing patient base currently booked out at least two weeks in advance, this is a great career opportunity for an Oral Health Therapist or Hygienist who is committed to providing painless, quality dental care for patients in all aspects of dentistry.

Whilst experience will be highly regarded graduates will also be considered and are welcome to apply.

This is a great long term career opportunity and would ideally suit applicants who are looking to relocate to Goondiwindi. Monday to Friday roster with occasional Saturdays and late night Thursdays.

The heart of the role:

• Provide routine clinical dental treatment for children including dental examinations and diagnosis, cleaning, scaling and polishing teeth, filling cavities and extracting teeth under local anaesthetic
• Treat gum conditions for all ages including adults, take X-rays of teeth and jaws
• Willingness to exceed patient’s expectations and develop relationships
• Educate and motivate people to maintain good oral health
• Efficient delivery of high quality treatment
• Meets the practice treatment philosophy
• Adaptability to contribute to the success and cohesion of the whole team

What you'll bring:

• Qualified Oral Health Therapist or Hygienist
• Ability to conduct dentistry on children
• Experience with carry out maintenance item codes
• Excellent communication skills and confident presentation
• Ability and willingness to work in a team environment
• Maturity to handle complex cases and situations
• A caring and empathetic personality
