This is a great opportunity for a Hygienist to become a highly valued member of a team that delivers outstanding patient care to the Canterbury community. We are looking for someone to cover for one of our Hygienists going on maternity leave where working days are negotiable. Above all, we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills who is willing to contribute positively to our well established, professional but friendly team environment.

About the role:

• Willingness to exceed patient’s expectations and develop relationships
• Efficient delivery of high quality treatment and a commitment to excellence
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records
• Adhere to all compliance requirements and meets the practice treatment philosophy

About you:

• Qualified Oral Health Therapist/Hygienist, ideally with at least 2 years’ local experience
• Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced, team environment
• Confidence in clinical treatment
• Excellent communication skills & a warm, friendly approach to treatment
• A caring and empathetic personality, ability to calm anxious and nervous patients
• Exude confidence in treatment planning and clinical treatment
