Newtown Dental Care has been providing dental treatment to the community since 1971.
We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant with Reception duties to join our team on a full time basis.
Collaborating closely with our team; the successful candidate will be filling a well-rounded & varied role; performing all aspects of general dental assisting plus reception work.

Heart of the role:
- General chairside assistance
- Provide sterilisation and infection control solutions
- Maintain stock control
- Developing and maintaining relationships with patients
- Providing instrument sterilisation
- Preparing patients & facilities for dental treatment
- Patient management; answering all phone enquiries & greeting clients
- Checking processing & managing customer accounts; assisting to manage the patient recall system
What you'll bring:
- 1 years previous experience in an Australian dental practice
- A Certificate III or Certificate IV in Dental Assisting will be highly regarded
- A dedicated team player with strong customer focus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including an outstanding phone manner
- Excellent professional presentation highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to be punctual and reliable
