As a 5 chair dental practice, we offer a wide range of modern dental and cosmetic treatments, using cutting edge technology, delivering paint free dentistry and exceptional patient care. We are a large, progressive practice committed to seeing our staff grow professionally while acquiring new skills.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant for our team who is willing to perform a dual role in clinical and front office duties.

Hence applicants for this role must have prior experience in Dental Assisting.

Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone is a must as is a commitment to excellence in the clinical and infection control field.

The heart of the role:

• General chairside assistance across general dentistry
• Provide sterilisation and infection control solutions, maintain stock control
• Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
• General Hygiene assistance where required
• Coordination of laboratory work
• Patient care from entry to the surgery, recall management

What you'll bring:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant essential
• Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting highly regarded
• Front office experience at a busy dental practice highly regarded
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal & customer service skills
• A proven track record of punctuality and reliability
• Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
• A great attitude towards teamwork
• Able to work fortnightly Saturdays for 5.5 hours
