An exciting rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced, professional and articulate Accountant to be part of our Finance team. Working closely with management and our stakeholders, you will be responsible in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timely financial reporting and controls, and assist management in day-to-day accounting activities.

About the role:

  • Preparation of practice P&L’s, ANZ balance sheet reconciliations and ANZ management results

  • Responsible for calculations and payment of dentists commissions, practice bank and debtors reconciliations

  • Fixed asset register maintenance

  • Timely & accurate preparation of key dental practice reconciliations including bank, accounts receivable & sales

  • Preparation of monthly journals and assistance in the control of the business’ accounting records

  • Team management

  • Provide information to assist management in understanding the key financial and commercial drivers of their business

  • Ensure the integrity of all transactional dental practice data

About you:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as an Accountant in a corporate environment

  • Ambitious, driven and qualified with proven skills in business partnering, effective collaboration and ability to influence

  • CPA or CA qualification would be advantageous

  • Previous experience managing and motivating a team

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong computer literacy skills (must possess advanced Excel skill set)

  • Advanced data analysis skills

  • Experience and the ability to demonstrate sound judgement and a commitment to deliver a high quality, client focused outcomes

  • A willingness to improve business processes and an ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver team and corporate outcomes

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
